Southwest Road Trip - Boise
Exploring the Heart of the American Southwest
There’s nothing quite like the open road, and the American Southwest is the ultimate playground for adventurers seeking dramatic landscapes, natural wonders, and unforgettable experiences. Our journey really began in Salt Lake City and wound through some of the region’s most iconic destinations: the towering red cliffs of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park, the neon buzz of Las Vegas, the jaw-dropping expanse of the Grand Canyon, and the cinematic beauty of Monument Valley. Along the way, we explored the mesmerizing Antelope Canyon before capping off our trip with the desert magic of Moab and the striking rock formations of Arches National Park. Each stop offered a unique scene in this remarkable region, leaving us with fantastic memories and wanting to explore more.
Pit stop in Boise, Idaho.
After a couple of days on the road we decided to stretch our legs in Boise, Idaho. I had never been there before. We walked around the Capitol Building, the stone and marble standing strong against the quiet afternoon. The city was clean, like it had been swept by the hands of time, inviting and calm. The next morning we found a spot called Push & Pour, a place where the coffee tasted as good as walking felt after two days of driving—pure satisfaction in every sip. Our 18 hours in Boise were brief but welcome. The parts of the city we saw were clean, inviting, and offered a sense of calm. I’d gladly stop again, to see more of what the place has to offer.
